Kieran. I first met Kieran through mutual friends when he was working as a manager at Fitness First. I was aware of his thoughtfulness and dedication while discussing general health, fitness and well being. When I realised that he offered personal training I decided to work with him.

I have suffered from depression and related mental health issues for some years; a symptom of which was that I had stepped back from fitness. I was cautious and apprehensive about getting back to the gym.

From the outset Kieran made me feel at ease. Working out with Kieran felt like training with a friend. His approach is gentle but focused. He is attuned to not just my physical fitness but also my mood. 

Over time I have felt comfortable sharing my mental health status with Kieran. I now look forward to working out with Kieran. 

My approach has been one of physical and mental rehabilitation. I try and meet with Kieran weekly. My time table is erratic but he is always accommodating and helpful. 

The sessions are fun, focused and effective. I’m feel challenged without being forced. There is no aggression in his approach.

He is always impeccably prepared and knowledgeable. I’m often surprised at the level of knowledge that Kieran possesses given his youth. His expertise is in-depth and thorough far more so than many others who may have worked in the fitness industry much longer.
